Portfolio and performance

I align my investments with macro themes (great patterns in the economy). You can read about these patterns on the macro theme pages. Individual investment opportunities (that align with these patterns) can be found in my blog page called: investment opportunities. I like to buy stocks when they are cheap. My goal is to outperform the market and realize a CAGR of 20% (cumulative average growth rate).

Current portfolio: allocated to be exposed to China, precious metal miners, and as little as possible to US equities. Updates as per 09/01/2026

Performance:

Furthermore for completeness you should deduct 10% from 2025 S&P performance due to dollar devaluation. We are not exposed to dollar devaluation to the contrary even.

Past performance is no indication for future performance. Goal: long term CAGR of around 20%. Last three year CAGR of S&P (reference portfolio) much higher than normal, due to inflated asset prices especially in the US. On average around 10%. So the long-term goal is to outperform the S&P 500 by at least 10%.
